Jillian LaDage's debut recording and her record label,

Tarith Cote's inaugural release, steps through the

temples of memory on a journey that leads from the medieval

sands of Turkey and the Byzantine Empire to the moors and

legends of the ancient Celts. Its nine self-produced tracks range

weave the eclectic Celtic singer/composer's rich musical tapestry

of harp, piano, bodhran, tabla, hurdy gurdy, guitar, clarinet, viola,

violin, cello, uillean pipes and more, embraces the quest of the

medieval mystic, unifying the ancient and modern world.

Liner notes for albums purchased via digital download are not included as digital files; that is, they aren’t automatically transmitted electronically when you purchase an album in this format.  However, liner notes for all of Jillian LaDage's albums are available free of charge in the Encounter the Music section of this website.

Our files are Digital Rights Management free and are therefore compatible with most digital devices, playable on most audio programs and can be burned to CD. The Jillian LaDage audio files for sale via Tarith Cote/Band Farm are full albums only.

OUR DIGITAL DOWLOAD FILE QUALITY

The digital downloads for sale from the TC Shop are offered as 256kbps MP3's. Most digital download retailers encode their files at either 128Kbps or 192Kbps. In contrast Tarith Cote's 256Kbps downloads is a very high quality for MP3's. The difference in sound quality between digital downloads transferred at 128kbps as opposed to 256kbps may be distinguishable on a high-fidelity audio play-back system.  To some listeners, the original digital file obtained from a CD might seem slightly clearer and may seem to have more “depth” than an album transmitted at 128kbps, but the character and essential qualities of the songs are still more than evident. Since our MP3 files are encoded at 256 kbps (near-CD quality) they are easy to download, easy to burn to CD, easy to transfer to portable players and sound great.
